The 2016 World Surf League Peahi Challenge has been given the green light to start tomorrow, Friday November 11th. It’s the second stop for the World Surf League’s Big Wave Tour, and there’s an expected 30-foot+ swell en route.

Peahi, also known as Jaws, is one of the largest waves in the world. With the right swells, tides and wind conditions, Peahi can bring up waves as large as 60-feet. Located on Maui’s North Shore, Peahi is located on the makai (ocean) side of Haiku.
